Wire rope flaw detector is used for non-destructive testing of steel wire ropes. Its applications include, but are not limited to, various industries such as cranes, lifts, cable cars and bridges, mining cranes, tension ropes and steel cores in conductive wires. It is used to inspect cables during their manufacture, use, or disposal. It can be applied to all steel cables, regardless of their lay pattern, core material, surface, or wire.
During inspections based on rope diameters, the suitability of ropes for use is determined by analysing and reporting on graphs, checking compliance with ISO 4309. These inspections prevent unnecessary rope replacement and enable us to identify potential rope breakages in advance, as required by occupational health and safety regulations.
