Modernisation
In accordance with standards, cranes that have been in use for over 10 years undergo mechanical and electrical overhauls. These are redesigned to meet customer requirements, ensuring the cranes are restored to a trouble-free and operational state.
All unsuitable parts are reported to our customers following the checks carried out, and replacements are provided.
We can also provide services for your cranes according to our customers’ requests, including bridge shortening, extension, and crane disassembly and assembly from one hall to another.

Crane System Overhauls
C
rane systems with faulty or problematic parts can initially be repaired on site to restore them to working order. Designing new crane bridge heads developed by GÜRALP to replace old and
worn-out heads.
Dismantling the crane systems from their travel paths and transporting them to the Güralp A.Ş. factory. Incorporating the systems into our sandblasting system, performing welding inspections and magnetic tests after sandblasting, and issuing reports. Dismantling the lifting (cat) group at the Güralp A.Ş. factory. Disassembly of the bridge group at the GÜRALP A.Ş. factory. Inspection of mechanical components and reporting on their individual conditions with photographs. (Drum, motor, reducer, brake, coupling, wheels, bearings, hook block, etc.) Identification of switchgear components that have reached the end of their commercial life within the electrical panel and completion of modernisation with new series products. Cleaning, inspection and photographing of the electrical components and reporting on their condition. Wire brushing of the painted lifting (cat) chassis and welded parts (such as drums), and UT/MT inspection of critical weld points where the paint has been removed. Photographing and reporting on these inspections. Cleaning and lubricating the entire hoist machine group and reassembling it. Painting the trolley group with the original RAL code. Performing load tests at the Güralp factory and reporting the results. After all checks, any parts identified as needing replacement, any missing parts, and any necessary actions are reported separately and presented to our valued customers in the form of a quotation.
New technologies we have implemented in crane modernisation
Cranes that have exceeded their 10-year service life undergo thorough modernisation at our factory to ensure they operate smoothly again. This involves carrying out necessary modifications and major maintenance based on measurements taken in accordance with our quality standards.
The operational safety of cranes is being enhanced by utilising new technologies, both mechanically and electrically.
In accordance with FEM standards, in order to record the operating times of cranes, both the number of switching operations and the load lifted are recorded using a SMART RELAY (PLC) application.
Thanks to our After Sales Services Workshop unit, repairs of faulty cranes, as well as requested modifications and revisions, are also carried out.
